Racing Team

The Racing Team is for sailors who want to take their racing beyond the club — competing in the BAYS series and other regattas around the Bay Area, as well as our local Friday Night Races.

Who it's for

The Racing Team is by invitation, and sailors must be registered for the Scholastic program. It's for committed sailors who've shown they're ready to train hard and travel to compete. If you're aiming in that direction, keep at it in Club Sailing - we're always looking for sailors ready to step up.

What it involves

The team trains together through the school year and travels to regattas as a group. It's a real commitment - of time, effort, and teamwork — and it's where our most dedicated sailors grow the most.

What it costs

The Racing Team is part of the Scholastic program — sailors need to be registered for Scholastic and have a current Junior Membership. See Scholastic for details.

The only added cost:

  • One-time Racing Team fee: $150 - covers the school year and the following summer break
  • Regatta entry fees are separate
